- When individuals live outside their means, individuals and their families suffer. When mega-banks live outside their means, entire societies suffer. They are both bad, but to lay what's going on today solely at the feet of individuals is just emotionally-laden bullshit.

- #1: McCain spouted all this deregulation stuff right along party lines, and then claimed he is a "reformer." The economy is THE top issue, but he kept talking about getting rid of government. I was shocked that he can't see how bad that looked.
